Allman Brothers concert tickets are not only a chance to see a legendary band perform, but also to see one of the preeminent southern jam bands in history take the stage and improvise with their talent and precision. Allman Brothers tickets are not only a chance to see an iconic band perform, but to take a musical journey through time.
The Allman Brothers came together in Jacksonville in 1969, and brothers Duane and Gregg Allman were the driving force behind the formation. The band released their first album, The Allman Brothers Band, that same year, although it did not meet much commercial success. Their follow up effort, Idlewild South in 1970, was a huge success, and was also the precursor to the album that made them legends. 1971 was the year that At Fillmore East was released, and this album is still popular to this day. Tragedy struck soon thereafter, however, as Duane Allman was killed in a motorcycle accident on October 29, 1971. The band has had other struggles, but they have persevered and remain one of the most popular live acts in the world.
A classic rock band that’s universally respected, the Allman Brothers Band is on tour again this summer. Look for the band to come close to you in August, when they’ll be on the East Coast in Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey. But why settle to listen to these behemoths of rock at home? See them live by buying some tickets now!
