The Selena Auditorium seating chart has room to fit over 2,500 concertgoers on the floor level and in the two raised tiers. Originally built in 1979, the American Bank Center Selena Auditorium was named after the famous Tejano singer, Selena Quintanilla-Perez, or simply "Selena" to her fans, after her tragic death in March of 1995. Selena's legacy lives on through the auditorium and here many hit songs that still get plenty of play in the radio.
The American Bank Center has a lot of great concerts and events going on. The Arena at the Center will handle most of the sports and larger-scale stage acts, such as WWE events and circuses. The Selena Auditorium, however, will get the bulk of the concerts, ballets, theatrical performances, and of course, the productions of the Corpus Christi Symphony.
